This simply designed Log Home offers privacy for retired couples and their guests with the separated bedrooms and baths. Windows or doors across the rear, open to possible views. The Living Room can have a vaulted ceiling. The kitchen, in a 'U' shape, is convenient to the entry and separate utility room. Note the three walk-in closets.
This Log Plan is designed using, chinked, pine 6x12 dovetail logs, but other types of logs may be used.
Also note that this Log Home Plan includes the alternate frame plan, F-1008-A. The extended front gable to the front provides a more spacious kitchen and dining area. The added vaulted, rear screen porch also increases the summer time living area.
This alternate frame plan, F-1008-A is included when ordering the log version L-1008 construction plan.
