For more openness in plan, F-1704, the foyer wall can match the low, column wall between the dining and the parlor. The long, open view from the breakfast table thru the dining into the parlor is very aesthetic. The country kitchen has generous room for a breakfast table and, also, an island with knee space for bar stools. The utility has a convenient sink beside the washer and dryer. Tucked in its own stall is a private commode. The open stairs lead to two small bedrooms, built under the lower roof. If you want larger bedrooms and more space the roof can be place higher, at the two-story roof line. For a larger closet area and master bath with separate shower and tub you can use the alternate bath plan which extends the bedroom wing towards the front. The basement level is reached by the stairway under main stairs. The carport can be widened and enclosed as a two car garage with entry from the side.
