The long country porch is covered by the same roof used on the main part of the house plan F-1796. The Great Room, dining and kitchen are separated only by the massive masonry fireplace with its inset for a wood stove on the kitchen side. A small pantry is tucked beside the refrigerator and the area allows space for a chop block. The utility room has a sewing or ironing space. If the storage is reduced in width, extra room can be available in the utility. The side screen porch is shared by the dining room and the master bedroom. An alternate plan which adds width to the master wing, offers a master bath plan for separate shower and tub. Upstairs two bedrooms have extra large walk–in closets and a full bath. Note attic storage over the garage/carport.
