This log home design uses 6x12 chinked logs. Note that the separate master bedroom on the opposite side of the parlor in this plan, L-1252, provides privacy for the owners when guests arrive. The fireplace is flanked with TV spot and book shelves. The dining area looks out thru oversized windows. The special utility/panty room is open with 1/2 Dutch door and allows space for folding and hanging clothes. [See the alternate F-1252] Check the Dutch door detail.

An alternate layout, with a double garage, a larger or handicap bath and basement stairs that lead to a full basement as seen in the frame, F-1252-A, are included with the purchase of the basic log Plan. A walk-in closet with the vanity is a plus. The utility room has space for sewing or small office with a window. Also added, is a covered rear porch off the dining area. The pantry over the stairway and the long closet provide that needed storage space.
