Victorian Gingerbread trim edges the country porch of this affordable home. Special lattice panels are shown between brick piers for Country Victorian authenticity. This compact retirement home has a gracious sized Great Room that includes an open dining area which opens into a wonderful screen porch. Note that this same porch is accessible from the Master Suite and the breakfast area. The location of the Master Suite insures privacy when guests or grandchildren visit. The Master Bath has a double lavatory with an adjacent walk-in closet. The shower is opposite the large garden tub.
On the other side of the house the convenient kitchen provides a cozy breakfast area that also opens onto the screen porch. A second bedroom with its private bath is located at the front The utility room has a closet for coats and a pantry, plus a sewing machine, ironing board or desk space. A small half bath is placed near the rear entrance for small children when they come in from play.
Upstairs, the area over the single garage offers a storage area that can become a finished bedroom with its own bath.
A single garage is designed near the kitchen and alternate plan provides a double garage. This leaves extra space in the main house plan for a third bedroom downstairs. The alternate plan has a basement under the Great Room and Master Bedroom.
