A painted cased opening with 45-degree angle frames the brief
space donated to the storage of office or gift wrapping supplies. The shelves are braced
for heavy books and one section has short drawers for small items. In this case the long
time-ago cigar boxes were wallpapered and placed for handy access. The lower section tilts
out for storage of wrapping papers on dowel rods. The bi-folding doors to the adjoining
entry are homemade from 1x12 pine shelving boards and butterfly hinges. Note the use of
painted horizontal paneling with the wallpaper.
